At Flowerz, we value your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your data when you use PenK Assistant. By using the app, you agree to this policy.

1. Data We Collect

  • Account Data: Email, password, and profile info (e.g., for Multi-Profile).
  • Usage Data: Metrics, Goals, To-do Lists, Habits, Focus Timer logs, Notes, Reminders, Calendar events, and Chat Assistant interactions.
  • Analytics Data: Aggregated insights from your activity (e.g., time spent on Categories).
  • Technical Data: Device info, IP address, app version, and crash logs.
  • Third-Party Data: Google Calendar info you link to PenK Assistant.
  • Message Data: PenK Messages (interactions with the Chat Assistant) are stored temporarily to preserve recent context. These messages are retained for a short period (currently 3 days, subject to change) and then deleted.

2. How We Use Your Data

  • To Provide Features: Track Stats, Goals, Habits; Planner, Notes, and Reminders; sync with Calendar; power the Chat Assistant and Analytics.
  • To Improve the App: Analyze usage, fix bugs, and enhance features.
  • To Personalize: Offer tailored Chat Assistant suggestions (e.g., habit nudges).
  • To Communicate: Send updates, notifications, or support replies.

3. Data Sharing

  • Third Parties: We share data with Google Calendar (for syncing), Firebase (for app functionality), and AWS (for server and storage). They follow their privacy policies.
  • Google Workspace API Data: We do not use data obtained from Google Workspace APIs to develop, improve, or train generalized AI or machine learning models.
  • Legal Requests: We may share data if required by law or to protect our rights.
  • No Selling: We don't sell your data.

4. Data Storage and Security

  • We store data on secure AWS servers. Firebase may also store app data.
  • We use encryption and safeguards, but no system is 100% secure. You accept this risk.

5. Your Rights

  • Access: View your data via the app.
  • Edit: Update your data by interacting with the app.
  • Delete: Remove your account and data in the app settings.

6. Cookies and Tracking

  • We don't use cookies (app-only). We collect Technical Data as noted above.

7. Third-Party Services

  • Data shared with Google Calendar, Firebase, and AWS is processed per their policies. Review them for details.

8. Age Suitability

  • PenK Assistant is suitable for general audiences, including children aged 4 and up. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13 without parental consent where required by law.

9. Changes to This Policy

  • We'll notify you of updates (e.g., in-app). Continued use means you accept them.
